  2.                    YOU REGISTER RAR
  3.  
  4.    1. Because as registered user you:
  5.  
  6.    1) Encourage the author to further develop and improve
  7.       RAR, making possible new RAR releases;
  8.  
  9.    2) May use RAR in commercial and other environments;
  10.  
  11.    3) Gain access to the Authenticity Verification and log
  12.       errors to file features;
  13.  
  14.    4) Access support and assistance, via E-mail and RAR Support
  15.       Sites, worldwide;
  16.  
  17.    5) Gain the right to use ALL future RAR releases, on the same 
  18.       OS platform, in the registered mode.  When a major version 
  19.       number is changed, it may be deemed necessary, due to the
  20.       activities of hackers, to change the registration method.  
  21.       If this happens, an upgrade diskette will be available from
  22.       your local registration site for a small charge to cover 
  23.       postage and handling.

  25.    2. What you need to register:

  27.    If you wish to be a registered RAR user, all you need do is
  28.    make a payment to the author, via one of the local
  29.    registration sites listed in the registration form.  Many
  30.    registration sites will accept credit cards, all will accept
  31.    cash or cashier's cheque.

  38.    3. Registration
  39.  
  40.    Upon receipt of your registration fee with the completed
  41.    registration form you will receive a registration key 
  42.    which will corresponding to the registration string you 
  43.    indicated in registration form.
  44.  
  45.    Upon receipt of your registration key you should start 
  46.    RAR, press F9 and select menu item <Registration>, then 
  47.    enter your name (registration string) and the key when 
  48.    requested.  This will activate the registered features 
  49.    of RAR.

  51.    The diskette supplied to you with your key will also
  52.    contain the latest version of RAR along with local 
  53.    language documentation, if available.  Other software 
  54.    may also be included, at the discretion of the local 
  55.    registration site.

  57.    It is possible, depending upon the facilities available
  58.    at your local registration site, to have the key 
  59.    delivered to your computer system, to have it made 
  60.    available for pickup by you or to have it delivered by 
  61.    the postal service.
